Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where will the event take place?
The venue of the Strategic Technology Forum is Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromees & Spa in Lake Maggiore. See their website at the following link: www.borromees.com

2. Do I need to reserve a bedroom?
Once you have registered for the Strategic Technology Forum a bedroom will automatically be reserved for you for the evening of Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th June. If you decide you would like to book any additional nights, please contact csutherland@alm.com in order to attain the preferable rates.

3. What are the suggested flights I should take?
You can of course make your way to Lake Maggiore on whichever flights you prefer however we will be arranging transport for people arriving and departing on the following flights:

Outbound
Easyjet
07:20 London Luton (LTN) – 10:25 Milan Malpensa (MXP)

Or

British Airways
07:50 London Heathrow (LHR) – 10:50 Milan Malpensa (MXP)

Return
British Airways
15:50 Milan Linate (LIN) – 16:55 London Heathrow (LHR)

Please note: travel time from Malpensa is 50 mins and from Linate is 1 hour 20 mins.

4. Can my spouse attend?

5. Is there wifi available in the hotel?
There will be complimentary wifi access available in all rooms of the hotel throughout the duration of your stay.

6. Where do I book my seat on the coach and choose my breakout/leisure options?
Roughly 2-3 weeks before the conference you will be sent the pre-event survey. This survey will give you the option to select which break-out sessions you wish to attend, which leisure activities you would like to participate in and allow you to provide information regarding travel, accommodation and any specific requirements you wish to be met.
